Grimoire of Zero, when it was just the titular anime on its own, was a great adaptation of the first light novel. However, the part that makes it such a mismanaged series is Dawn of the Witch.
Dawn of the Witch is a spin-off/sequel series that still utilizes the characters from the original Grimoire of Zero as side characters, but follows a whole new cast. However, it takes place after the full 11-novel parent series ends. So they skipped 10 novels of story, and fans of the original Grimoire of Zero anime were left quite confused.
Will There Be A Grimoire of Zero Season 2?
There has been no official announcement of a Grimoire of Zero Season 2 anime nor a Dawn of the Witch Season 2 anime.
Adapting Dawn of the Witch was… a mistake. They gained some new fans for it, but lost old fans that came from the original because the skipping of ten novels of story was so confusing.
