Gantz is a special beast. It is one of those series where the plot diverges from the source material in the anime. It seems that about half way through season 2, the studio no longer wanted to continue adapting the story or knew they were canceled. Instead of leaving it open-ended, they created an ending.

Where To Start The Gantz Manga After The Anime?
If you would like to continue where the Gantz anime really left off in the manga, you will want to start at Chapter 90.
In the anime, anything that happens after episode 22 is not in the manga as the Gantz anime ended with a filler arc.
If you happen to be a fan of the Gantz:O CGI movie, that movie covers chapters 237 through 280 in the Gantz manga. However, the events in the manga do go differently so the movie should not be used as a replacement.
Is The Gantz Manga Over?
The Gantz manga is complete. It ended in 2013 with Chapter 383.
