Gakuen Alice is a series that is juggling a lot of balls – school, supernatural elements, love triangles – but that all comes together in a story that feels so original without actually really doing too much new. Although it does seem a bit childish in the beginning, Gakuen Alice – the anime and even more so the manga – is a story that keeps on giving in terms of quality content.

What to Expect From The Gakuen Alice Manga?
Gakuen Alice, as an adaptation of the manga story, is actually really diligent. However, it does have that thing that you see in older shoujo anime adaptations like Full Moon o Sagashite or the original Fruits Basket anime where the anime is super cheerful, but the tone of the manga is not, or at least, not always.
Expect the Gakuen Alice manga to accent more sad and depressing moments as actually sad and depressing compared to the pretty cheerful anime.
Regardless, there are no real changes that require reading the Gakuen Alice manga from the beginning after the anime unless you just want to.
Is The Gakuen Alice Manga Over?
The Gakuen Alice manga is complete. It ended in 2013 with Chapter 183.
Will There Be A Gakuen Alice Season 2?
As the anime and manga are long over – and also old school shoujo gets minimal love – don’t expect more Gakuen Alice anime.
