The Flowers of Evil is… an experience. Some will tell you its a bad one because of its choice to use rotoscoping animation, but I actually thought it was a great choice for this particular series. The art was realistic, but unsettling, and unsettling is something that works perfectly with the story they are telling.
That said, since the rotoscoping and everyone spitting bile at it when the anime came out got the next season of The Flowers of Evil anime canceled before the first season even ended, you now can only continue the story in the manga.
Furthermore, the story only gets weirder.
