Detective School Q has the bad luck of often being compared to Japan’s other mystery dynamos – Detective Conan and Kindaichi’s Case Files. This means it has a bit of a hard time standing on its own laurels because it is so constantly compared to other things. However, the real mystery fan realizes that more mystery, especially one done with new characters and situations, is never a bad thing.

Where To Start The Detective School Q Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Detective School Q anime and want to start the manga, the anime technically adapts up to Chapter 96 of the manga, but I don’t recommend starting there.
The Detective School Q anime is one of those series that, because the manga is a bit episodic with its variety of cases, adapts the chapters out of order and often skips quite a bit in between.
In truth, the Detective School Q anime doesn’t start really skipping things badly until Chapter 79. You don’t need to read the Detective School Q manga from the very beginning, but it definitely would be better to at least start at Chapter 79.
It is also worth noting that the Detective School Q anime has an anime-original final two episodes, so you can disregard those.
