I am so upset I slept on this series when it aired. It combined by two very favorite anime things – food and found family! I also appreciated that it followed an adult who wasn’t actually broken like his newfound child friend too. That’s a rarity in found family anime series.

Will There Be A Deaimon Season 2?
There has been no official announcement of a Deaimon Season 2 anime.
While the anime aired in 2022, and thus the window for a second season is still open, most slice of life anime about raising young children generally don’t get second seasons. They work pretty well to drive people to the manga, but otherwise aren’t profitable enough to merit continuing.
