The manga jumps around and re-arranged a lot, skipping a number of chapters, but the first episode does adapt the early ones in order. The real reason to start there, though, is I couldn’t find a place to read even the raws in Japanese past Chapter 7 and it started skipping chapters soon afterwards. I’d like to better update this someday, but this is the best guess I can make for now.
