Years and years ago, D. Gray Man was my favorite of the shounen manga series because it had this unique Gothic vibe. While it forgets what made it unique later in the series and just sort of becomes your average battler, you kind of stick with it for the characters at that point, right?

Where To Start The D. Gray Man Manga After The Anime?
If you have watched the original D. Gray Man anime and the sequel D. Gray Man Hallow anime and want to start with the manga, you can do so at Chapter 207.
What to Expect From The D. Gray Man Manga?
The first season of D. Gray Man was riddled with filler, but Hallow did adapt things a little better. You may just want to read the manga from the beginning to get a more concise story, however.
If you just want to see what happens next, it is pretty easy to just pick up the manga and go forward after watching the anime. What happens in the earlier chapters doesn’t have much effect on the later ones, to be honest.
Is The D. Gray Man Manga Over?
The D. Gray Man manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2004, it suffers under frequent hiatuses due to the authors poor health so releases are getting to the point of Hunter X Hunter-levels of rare.
Will There Be A D. Gray Man Season 3?
It is very unlikely that there will be a D. Gray Man Season 3 anime. We will be lucky if the manga gets to end at this point.
Also, according to the various fan gossip based on a now-deleted Instagram post, the author didn’t like Hallow as an adaptation and her dislike was a contributing factor in its cancellation. Although, I find it hard to believe that original creators have that much sway, given past examples with other anime that their creators strongly disliked.
