Where To Start The Classroom of the Elite Light Novel After The Anime?
If you finished through the third season of the Classroom of the Elite anime, then those three seasons adapted the full “First Year” light novel series. As such, you would now start the light novels as Year Two Novel 1, which is a separate series, but obviously a sequel to the first.

Is The Classroom of the Elite Light Novel Over?
The Classroom of the Elite: Year 1 light novels are completed. However, the sequel light novels – Classroom of the Elite: Year 2 – are ongoing. They have steadily released at a three-novel per year pace.
Where To Start The Classroom of the Elite Manga After The Anime?
While Classroom of the Elite also has a manga, season two zipped right past it. So now the Classroom of the Elite manga is well behind the anime. Only adapting about to volume 5 of the light novel right now, which is the sports festival.
If you watched all three season of the Classroom of the Elite anime, you can technicality now start the Year Two manga, which is ongoing alongside the Year 1 manga, at Chapter 1.
Is The Classroom of the Elite Manga Over?
The Classroom of the Elite manga is still ongoing. Both the Classroom of the Elite: Year 1 and Classroom of the Elite: Year 2 manga are publishing at the same time. However, you cannot read the Year 2 manga without finishing the Year 1 story.
Since the Year 1 manga isn’t even half way through the Year 1 light novel story, you would need to finish the Year 1 light novels or watch all three seasons of anime to start the Year 2 manga.
Unfortunately, the manga only publishes at a slow one to two-volume per year rate.
What to Expect From The Classroom of the Elite Source Material Compared to The Anime?
There are some differences between the anime and the light novels. The biggest thing to remember is that in the light novel, Ayanokoji starts off pretending to be more like a normal high school student, and not the emotionless, calculating man you know from the anime. It makes the tone a little hard to get used to if you didn’t know that. His tone does shift in later novels to be closer to his anime self, though.
That said, it is strongly recommended to read the Classroom of the Elite light novels, or at least the manga, from the beginning. You miss a lot of details that make for a better story. Season 2 was a particularly unsatisfying adaptation.
Will There Be A Classroom of the Elite Season 4?
There has been no official announcement of a Classroom of the Elite Season 4.
It’s had three seasons, and the series still has it fans. As such, a Season 4 is possible.
