If you finished The Case Files of Jeweler Richard anime and wish to start the light novels, you can start at, technically, Novel 7, but I don’t recommend it.
The anime adapted through Novel 6 almost assuredly because that is where “Part 1” of the story essentially ends. However, it rushed through the story to get to that point.
The mysteries that the anime did adapt were actually done pretty well. The problem is that the anime skipped a number of cases to get to the end point it wanted to reach.
