I enjoyed Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki-kun because it wasn’t just a loser “suddenly” becomes popular story. It showed surprisingly valid tactics that one could employ to socially rehabilitate themselves, though not without a healthy dose of sugar-coating.

As with any light novel adaptation, the anime speeds through the content of the light novels and leaves out many details. Season one was light on the details of the third novel, and season two, because it did try to cram in four books, lacked a lot of details.
The anime covers the basic core story, though I would recommend starting the series, if not at the beginning, then at Novel 3 since the anime skips more crucial details from that novel than any other.
