What to Expect From The Blue Exorcist Manga?
The part that makes Blue Exorcist a messy series is that after Episode 16 of the first season, it is an anime-only arc. For the second season, it goes back to adapting the manga, which is strange because it forces the series to ignore the last episodes of the first season. So you start watching the second season and everyone is mysteriously ignoring the last bit of season one, which is a jarring disconnect.
As for the third season, the anime did start by skipping Chapters 35 through 37. it would later skip Chapter 40 and Chapter 42. You may wish to go back and read them.
Is The Blue Exorcist Manga Over?
The Blue Exorcist manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2009, it has slowed its release pace to a single volume per year.
Will There Be A Blue Exorcist Season 4?
It was confirmed after Season 3 ended that the Blue Exorcist anime would be continuing. Season 4 is currently set to start airing on October 5th, 2024 with the Beyond the Snow Saga. It will then continue into the next arc in January 2025 with The Blue Night Saga.
