Blood Lad is such a fun little anime. A series with interesting fights, but it isn’t dedicated to fights like a shounen battler. However, like other interesting little anime with unique characters – like Soul Eater or Servamp – it doesn’t get the anime attention it deserves.
Where To Start The Blood Lad Manga After The Anime?
If you finished up the Blood Lad anime and wish to continue with the manga, you can do so at Chapter 31.
The anime adapts all of Volume 6.
The anime also received a short little OVA, which is canon. If you were lucky enough to be able to track it down, you would then start the Blood Lad manga at Chapter 34.
What to Expect From The Blood Lad Manga?
The Blood Lad was a pretty decent adaptation of the Blood Lad manga story. It leaves out a few details, but nothing that really requires you to read the series from the beginning.

The Blood Lad manga is complete. It ended in 2019 with Chapter 85.
Will There Be A Blood Lad Season 2?
As the anime finished in 2013 and the the manga concluded in 2016, I’d say a Blood Lad Season 2 anime is very unlikely.
