Where Does The Berserk Anime End in The Manga?

A true legendary tale, and maybe upon remaking the Golden Age arc for the fifteenth time, they will be able to get it right in a way that satisfies fans. Maybe even the story itself will be finished by then, even if Miura won’t be alive to see it.

Where To Start The Berserk Manga After The Anime?

Where to start the Berserk manga after the anime wholly depends on which of the many anime series for Berserk you watched.

If you only watch the 1997 Berserk anime, you will want to pick up at Chapter 87 in the manga.

If you watched the trilogy movies that cover roughly the same period or the Memorial Edition which is a TV adaptation of the movies, you can pick up a little later as they included Skull Knight. This means you can start a Chapter 88 in the manga.

If you have watched through both seasons of the 2016 Berserk anime, then you can start around Chapter 250 in the manga.

What to Expect From The Berserk Manga?

It is honestly best to start at the beginning of the the Berserk manga. If not, it would be best to watch the Memorial Edition, and start at Chapter 88 since that kept the most details intact from the manga story.

The 2016 Berserk, for how ugly it was, actually did a decent job telling the story too. It just looked terrible while doing it.

In short, the manga is worth reading for the legendary artwork more so than the details left out of the story.

Is The Berserk Manga Over?

The Berserk manga is still ongoing. The original author, Kentaro Miura, died in 2021, but his mangaka colleague and friend Kouji Mori, as well as Miura’s team, have continued production. However, the manga still only releases a small handful of chapters per year.

Will There Be More Berserk Anime?

Berserk is a legendary manga tale, and similar to Fist of the North Star, it has an ageless appeal as an anime series. It is likely we will see more Berserk someday. I just hope it is not more Golden Age and CGI has advanced enough that it looks good.

Currently, there has been no official announcement of more Berserk anime.
