There really should be more stories about real life sciences, but then again, for as underrated as Beautiful Bones is, I guess the interest isn’t there. Regardless, Beautiful Bones provides an interesting mystery story that embraces realistic investigations with a likable main duo.
Where To Start The Beautiful Bones Light Novel After The Anime?
While, even if a series skips around, I generally like to give at least “an answer” as to where to pick up the source material, there is no good entry point into the Beautiful Bones light novel after the anime except to read it from the beginning.
The only light novel that the anime adapts in full is Novel 3. As the series is often episodic, the anime picked cases from light novels to cobble together an anime story, even then making significant changes that will impact the story later if you were to go into the light novels after them.

The Beautiful Bones light novel is complete. It ended in 2021 with Novel 17.
Where To Start The Beautiful Bones Manga After The Anime?
While Beautiful Bones has a manga series, the original manga ended after just two volumes. It also has a small, separate, single volume manga that adapted the fourth light novel.
Regardless, “reading the manga version” of Beautiful Bones isn’t not really a thing, it is light novel or nothing.
Will There Be A Beautiful Bones Season 2?
As the anime presented such a significant change to the story at later points, which will change the trajectory of the tale, I don’t think a Beautiful Bones Season 2 anime is in the cards. They will either have to retcon the changes or continue changing the story to continue, and no one wants that.
