Arte is one of those underrated gems that likes to play with shoujo tropes a bit while also covering an important period of history that is widely ignored in anime. Unfortunately, as is common, if it is shoujo without an swoon-worthy main romantic element, it’ll get looked right past no matter how good it is.

Where To Start The Arte Manga After The Anime?
If you did enjoy the Arte anime and want to pick up the story with the manga, you can do so at Volume 8, Chapter 37.
What to Expect From The Arte Manga?
The anime adapts the major events, but often abridges, if not skips, the finer details. Furthermore, when reading the manga, you will notice that the anime also skipped a lot of the more comical moments. It would be better if you read the manga from the beginning, but it covers the core arcs and you won’t be lost starting at the chapter given.
Is The Arte Manga Over?
The Arte manga is complete. It ended in 2025 with Volume 21, Chapter 105.
Will There Be A Arte Season 2?
I wish! Unfortunately, no Arte Season 2 anime has been announced.
It hasn’t been long enough since the anime in 2019 that all hope is lost, but it has been long enough that most hope is. The anime was likely not profitable enough to continue with.
