The Arifureta light novel is complete. It ended with Novel 13 in 2022.
Where To Start The Arifureta Manga After The Anime?
Arifureta also has a manga, but it is slow to release. As of Chapter 74, the manga is around Season 2, Episode 10, just to give you a rough idea of how close it is to catching up. Unfortunately, with Season 3 already announced, it seems the manga will be in that unpleasant “forever behind” zone.
Is The Arifureta Manga Over?
The Arifureta manga is ongoing. Since launching in 2016, it has managed to release one or two volumes per year.
What to Expect From The Arifureta Source Material Compared to The Anime?
While Arifureta may be getting more seasons than the average isekai anime, it isn’t the best adaptation of the source material. It tends to cut out a lot of content from the light novels, more than just the usual world building details that most light novel adaptations cut out.
You can jump into reading the light novel after the anime and not be too lost, but reading the Arifureta light novels from the beginning does provide a better and more detailed story.
