What to Expect From The Arifureta Source Material Compared to The Anime?
While Arifureta may be getting more seasons than the average isekai anime, it isn’t the best adaptation of the source material. It tends to cut out a lot of content from the light novels, more than just the usual world building details that most light novel adaptations cut out.
The second season of the anime was a little slower and a little more diligent, but that doesn’t change that a lot of base details from the world were cut out of Season1.
You can jump into reading the light novel after the anime and not be too lost, but reading the Arifureta light novels from the beginning does provide a better and more detailed story.
