Well, this was a Chinese cultivation series in every way you would expect – from the CGI animation to the “zero to OP” plot. However, to be extremely fair, this is probably one of the better and most appealing CGI series that I’ve watched. In fact, some of those characters look downright cool instead of goofy/uncanny.

Where To Start The Apotheosis Light Novel or Manhua After The Anime?
If you are a fan of the Apotheosis donghua and want to start in either the novel or the manhua, the start point after the anime is the same – Chapter 1.
The Apotheosis novel and manhua are both lengthy, detail-dense, and, if fans were honest, a bit meandering at some points. However, those meandering bits are also serving as an important bit of info dumping.
Regardless, the donghua cut a lot of content for Apotheosis, adding anime-original content, and changed a number of events. To jump into the novels or manhua after the anime and have a cohesive story experience would be difficult if not impossible, especially considering that both the novels and manhua take a decent amount of time to “get good” or, more accurately, get the story spun up into something you can understand. So with the anime making a number of changes in that beginning phase and beyond means the anime and the source material are almost two different products.
