I’ve seen Air Master described as gender-bent Baki the Grappler, and that is still just so… apt. If only it had a better art style to back it up, this series could have been—not something very special, per say—but something wonderfully unique in, what I like to call, the “Fights! Fights! Fights!” genre of action.

Where To Start The Air Master Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Air Master anime and want to continue the story in the manga, you can start at Volume 16, Chapter 122.
Do note that the final two episodes of the anime are anime-original. So you pick up the manga after Episode 25 when Maki and Julietta bone down.
What to Expect From The Air Master Manga?
Honestly, the biggest thing of note between the Air Master manga and anime is that the manga’s art is a bit uglier and a bit more graphically violent.
There’s not too terribly much going on in Air Master aside from the fights. The anime omitted and changed a few of the jokes as well as inserted a few original ones.
There is enough that was changed that reading the Air Master manga from the beginning would be worthwhile, but it definitely isn’t necessary.
Is The Air Master Manga Over?
The Air Master manga is complete. It ended in 2006 with Volume 28, Chapter 221.
Will There Be An Air Master Season 2?
As the Air Master anime ended in 2003 and the manga ended in 2006, it is very unlikely that there will be an Air Master Season 2 anime.
