While supernatural harem anime are numerous, Actually, I Am was always one that never took itself too seriously and let it just be really fun. It’s a shame the anime tamed the art style so much, but at least it kept the series passion for extreme facial expressions.

Where To Start The Actually I Am Manga After The Anime?

If you want to start the Actually I Am manga after the anime, I recommend at least starting at Chapter 17.

What to Expect From The Actually I Am Manga?

I’d strongly recommend starting the Actually I Am manga from the beginning. The anime leaves out characters that are important to the manga story, which makes starting the manga after the anime a bit difficult. While Actually I Am is enjoyable as an anime, it is a hot mess as a manga adaptation.

Where to pick up the Actually I Am manga after the anime is quite complicated. Reading the manga from the beginning, you notice immediately that the anime left a few characters out and also liked to just omit a lot of sub-plots.

The anime does provide a decent introduction to the series, focusing mostly on the main couple, but it jumps around the manga wildly throughout the episodes. At one point, it went from Chapter 13 to Chapter 66 in one episode, and while Actually I Am is a bit random, it does have enough linear progression that you really should not be doing that sort of wild jump.

Is The Actually I Am Manga Over?

The Actually I Am manga is complete. It ended in 2017 with Chapter 196.

Will There Be A Actually I Am Season 2?

Given the wild jumps in the anime adaptation and the fact that it diverged from the manga plot in the final episode to give a cleaner conclusion, I’d say an Actually I Am Season 2 is unlikely.

Furthermore, the anime came out in 2015 and it doesn’t seem like the type to get a surprise second season a decade later like you see with some other series.
