As the Spring 2023 anime season was absolutely drowning in good romance anime, I kind of feel bad that it really washed out the sweet, but less intense A Galaxy Next Door. It was a great romance anime, and really had a sweetness to it that you don’t see in a lot of romances.

Third, A Galaxy Next Door, with its slow romance and slice of life focus, is not the most marketable beast, meaning little likelihood of profitability.
