What to Expect From The 7 Seeds Manga?
While the 7 Seeds anime doesn’t skip much content, it also doesn’t quite do the same job of capturing the devastating feel of the stories it is telling. Yes, that is a strange thing to say, but the manga does capture the atmosphere of the events a lot better.
That said, the biggest thing you will notice when changing from anime to manga is a shift in art style. The 7 Seeds manga has a really old school shoujo art style, which is jarring when coming from the somewhat plain, but clean anime art.
You don’t need to the 7 Seeds manga from the beginning for the story, but I do recommend it since it does tell the story a lot better and makes those painfully sad stories and backstories actually feel quite touching.
Is The 7 Seeds Manga Over?
The 7 Seeds manga is complete. It ended in 2017 with Chapter 178.
Will There Be A 7 Seeds Season 3?
I wish! However, there has been no official announcement of a 7 Seeds Season 3 anime. In fact, some not-particularly-reputable sources that didn’t provide any sort of links to prove their statements say that Netflix has decided not to renew it. While Netflix cancels projects as frequently as I eat cake, no proof of its cancellation is speculation.
That said, while 7 Seeds is a critically acclaimed shoujo manga, that popularity did not transfer to the anime due to the somewhat lower quality of the anime product. As such, I personally don’t think a Season 3 is likely either.
