I’m not usually a fan of harem anime, but 100 Girlfriends was a series that I would describe with a chef’s kiss. The parody of harem anime was spot-on while still being perfection as a harem anime itself. And to go so big with the ecchi comedy so that it is both hilarious and still delightfully lewd. Masterful.
Where to Start The 100 Girlfriends Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really Love You anime and wish to start with the manga, you can do so at Chapter 23.
The anime adapts most of most of 100 Girlfriends volume 3 except for the very last chapter which provides a breather in between new girlfriends and is a delightful Your Name parody.
What to Expect From The 100 Girlfriends Manga?
Overall, 100 Girlfriends was a pretty great anime adaptation. And yes, the manga is often just as meta. Particularly with the chapter titles, so if you were in it more for the comedy than the waifus, you won’t be disappointed.
There are still so many more girls to add to the Rentaro family, so you don’t need to read it from the beginning. If anything, the anime added to the ridiculousness of the manga by adding in a few small, but delightful details to some scenes.
Is The 100 Girlfriends Manga Over?
The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You manga is still ongoing. It started in 2020 and has released on a satisfying four-volume per year basis ever since. That’s a lot of new girlfriends, but not even close to all of them.
Will There Be A 100 Girlfriends Season 2?
It has already been confirmed that 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You will get a second season. The announcement was made immediately following the final episode of the first season.
However, it has not announced when that second season will air.
