It is a sad thing when a truly solid manga gets kind of a half-assed anime. They made a go of it in season one, and it was good enough to even overlook that awkward ass CGI. Then they up and screwed the pooch in season two. Considering how season two ended, don’t expect a third.

In Ajin, things start to diverge in season one, which completely changes season two from the manga. If you are indeed interested in the real story, you will want to start at Chapter 22 where that divergence begins.
