Atri – My Dear Moments is an anime adaptation of the visual novel of the same name developed by Frontwing in 2021.

While the story in Atri has a number of young women that need a little help in their lives, the visual novel Atri – My Dear Moments is a singular romance story following Natsuki and his relationship with the titular Atri.

Is The Atri – My Dear Moments Anime Like The Game?

As the Atri visual novel only has one romantic option and the three different endings do not come into play until closer to the end of the story, the Atri anime adaptation actually did quite well at adapting the story.

That said, they did cut some of the side character stories short as well as didn’t go as far in the romance. For example, in the visual novel, Atri and Natsuki are full-on dating after a certain point while the anime never quite committed them, though the anime still kept the small bumps of romantic drama intact. Although, some were used in different context.

While the game is a great emotional experience, the Atri anime does adapt the True Ending of the visual novel, although with a small difference in that it didn’t include the nod to Natsuki’s wife.

The biggest thing you missed out on in the Atri anime is the extremely sad Bad Ending. Otherwise, the Atri anime was a good adaptation of the visual novel story, though not one without some changes to make for a better animated story experience.

Is The Atri Manga Like The Game?

If you don’t want to play the visual novel, Atri also has ongoing manga adaptation. The manga is adapting the visual novel story a little more faithfully, though with more slice of life fluff to it.

The Atri manga is currently at around Episode 6 or Episode 7 of the Atri anime. The lack of clarity in where it is in the story is due to the fact that the anime cut out that they were actually dating, and the manga, as of Chapter 15 (the most recent chapter as of the anime ending), is right in the early days of them going out as a couple.
