As a fan of food anime, I was all in on Delicious in Dungeon from the basic premise alone. I wasn’t really expecting some of the best world building I’ve seen at work, but as a fan of world building anime, it sort of made Delicious in Dungeon the perfect show for me. And the manga for Delicious in Dungeon? Well, it only gets better.

Where To Start The Delicious in Dungeon Manga After The Anime?

What to Expect From The Delicious in Dungeon Manga?
As even anime-only fans can tell, Delicious in Dungeon is a series that is one of the finest in terms of world building. It is a huge part of the story, and the anime covers the story really well. However, in order to make a more cohesive and flowing anime, they do cut quite a bit of smaller characterization moments that happen in between the characters.
Nothing important to the core plot is cut. The anime never felt like it was rushing things to get to a specific arc to end at. Although, a lot of small cut character moments do add up. If you adored the world and the characters, you should definitely read this lovely manga from the beginning. However, you have all the core plot intact, and can also be perfectly fine continuing the story too. Although, you will miss a very small handful of callback jokes.
That said, they did get a bit more cut-happy in the Golden Country and with Senshi’s backstory. You may wish to go back and start reading at Chapter 46 since those are more important moments to the story.

The Delicious in Dungeon manga is complete. It ended in 2023 with Chapter 102.
Will There Be A Delicious in Dungeon Season 2?
A Delicious in Dungeon Seaosn 2 was announced, but no further details as to when it will air have been revealed.
