It took a minute to full grasp what was going on, but I fully appreciate and welcome any anime with such a dedication to dense and detailed world-building like Ishura put on display.
Even if people were thrown by a lack of a main character and an initially vague plot, Ishura crafted great fantasy as it went on.

What to Expect From The Ishura Source Material Compared to The Anime?
As Ishura creates a vast world stuffed full of unique characters, it is great that it resisted common anime adaptation temptation and only adapted the first light novel story. Even that was pretty intricate, but the anime covered it well.
There is no need to read the Ishura light novel from the beginning unless you want to.
Will There Be A Ishura Season 3?
There has been no offcial announcement of an Ishura Season 3 anime.
Given the lack of general hype, I’m shocked it got a Season 2, but story quality can speak for itself.
