Th big issue with this is that Ayaka’s coma was actually the catalyst to force Narumi to go to Alice, meaning Ayaka is often present in the series when she actually wouldn’t be.

Adding to that, the anime also speeds through the light novels it is covering because it has to make sense of the changed chronology by inserting anime-original content.
