In the isekai genre where everyone has grand adventures and gathers their own fantasy harem, I can respect the heck out of an overworked office lady that just wants to lounge around her house.
300 Slimes, as it is more manageably called, offers a pretty laid-back Cute Girls Doing Cute Things isekai experience that is just a joy to watch.

What to Expect From The 300 Slimes Source Material Compared to The Anime?
300 Slimes is a pretty laid-back series, but it also is a series that likes to somewhat do its own things in each adaptation. The manga doesn’t fully adapt everything from the light novel, nor does it adapt the events the same way or sometimes in the same order. The anime doesn’t fully adapt everything from the manga or light novels either, sometimes changing the events and ordering them in its own way.
So if you choose to read light novel or manga after the anime, you will notice some differences, and those differences will continue to be different depending on whether you chose the manga or light novel to continue the story.
The first season of 300 Slimes kept pretty low in scope with what it adapted because it was setting up the characters. Season 2 of the anime went a little… more wild with what it was adapting and when.
There would be some benefit to reading either the manga or the light novel from the beginning, but you definitely don’t need to. 300 Slimes is designed to be cute and relaxing, so won’t miss anything especially important if you just continued on.
Will There Be A 300 Slimes Season 3?
There has been no official announcement of a 300 Slimes Season 3 anime.
No one expected a season 2, so we’ll see.
