If you like big battles, and battle tactics, you surprisingly don’t have a lot of good anime choices. While the animation in Kingdom isn’t always what I’d call a treat, the content is still amazing. That said, if Kingdom hooked you with the anime, you will find the manga really raises the bar.

Where To Start The Kingdom Manga After The Anime?
If you are looking to pick up the Kingdom manga after the anime, you can start after season 5 at Chapter 490, in which it just sort of ends mid-chapter in the anime.
*Updated for season 5
What to Expect From The Kingdom Manga?
The Kingdom anime pales in comparison to the manga, not just because is skips a few arcs either. The real problem with the Kingdom anime compared to the manga is that it is pretty censored. The manga is often brutal and grounded in realistic battles while the anime nipped out a lot of blood and violence in order to make it appear more like popular shounen shows.
If you were already hooked on the anime, then you should keep that in mind when going into the manga, but you don’t really need to go back and re-read it if you don’t want to. It has like 700 chapters, so there is plenty of content to dig into.
Is The Kingdom Manga Over?
The Kingdom manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2006, it has usually releases three to four volumes per year.
Will There Be A Kingdom Season 6?
There has been no official announcement of a Kingdom Season 6 anime.
There have been five seasons and Kingdom remains quite popular Asian countries, so another season seems likely.
