Where Does The Gene of AI Anime End In The Manga?

It’s unfortunate that The Gene of AI didn’t start off strong enough to hook people, but I actually really enjoyed its short stories about intelligent technology even if I believed they shouldn’t give the main character an alleged plot if they are going to wait until the last two episodes to actually follow it. Luckily for them, I actually really love AI/robotics stories in anime.

Where To Start The Gene of AI Manga After The Anime?

If you finished The Gene of AI anime and wish to start the manga, the anime is a complete adaptation of The Gene of AI manga. However, the manga has two sequel series that continue the story.

After the Gene of AI, the next manga to read would be The Gene of AI: Red Queen, and after you finished Red Queen, you would start The Gene of AI: Blue Age manga. All three series follow Sudo’s story.

What to Expect From The Gene of AI Manga?

The Gene of AI anime adapted much of the Gene of AI manga series, but not all of it. Some of the short stories were omitted and others had details changed. As such, you may wish to read the manga from the beginning, but the things it left out don’t have an impact on the core story.

Is The Gene of AI Manga Over?

The Gene of AI manga is complete. It ended in 2017 with Chapter 87.

The Gene of AI: Red Queen manga is complete. It ended in 2019 with Chapter 20.

The Gene of AI: Blue Age Manga is complete. It ended in 2024 with Chapter 42.

Will There Be A The Gene of AI Season 2?

Unfortunately, there has been no official announcement for a The Gene of AI Season 2 anime.

Due to its short story focus, I don’t know if it will be especially popular or profitable enough to receive one.
