While I thought Vermeil in Gold was going to be another Ara Ara, big mommy milkers anime, and much of the time it is, there is actually a lot of good amidst the cleavage too. Since I have no interest in the fan service of it, upon reflection I’ve settled on that it is the chemistry of the main characters that keeps things interesting, but I think the world it is set in has its interesting points too.

What to Expect From The Vermeil in Gold Manga?
Do note that the Vermeil in Gold anime modified some of the chapters they adapted, like chapters 14 and 15, which contain some details that come into play later. You may wish to go back and read from Chapter 14 when you continue on.
Outside of that, the anime put most of its focus on the ecchi and fights, but it is a fairly decent adaptation of the story. While there is definitely some merit to reading the manga from the beginning, but you don’t technically need to read to in order to continue on.

The Vermeil in Gold manga is complete. It ended in 2026 with Volume 12, Chapter 41.2.
This manga was canceled due to the sudden passing of the artist. The last chapter is technically the halfway release of Chapter 41 so it does not have a satisfying story conclusion and ends very abruptly.
Will There Be A Vermeil in Gold Season 2?
There has been no official announcement of a Vermeil in Gold Season 2 anime. With the manga now abruptly concluded, a Season 2 is now very unlikely.
