Where To Start The Yumeiro Patissiere Manga After The Anime?

If you finished the Yumeiro Patissiere anime and wish to continue the story in the manga, you can start at Volume 7, Chapter 23.

The entirety of the second season, Yumeiro Patissiere SP Professional, is anime-original. The OVA, Mune Kyun Torpical Island, is also anime-original.

Please note that while the anime (Season 1) does conclude with the tournament, the tournament result in the manga is different from the anime, you may wish to read the Chapter 22 just to know get more familiar with what is going on.

What to Expect From The Yumeiro Patissiere Manga?

Yumeiro Patisserie is not a good adaptation of the manga, but it is generally considered the more enjoyable of the two. The anime likes to do its own anime-original content, cutting (not really important) characters and replacing them with anime-original ones, focusing more on character development and changing some characterization, and generally going into more detail on the technical aspects of baking while the manga simply makes lovely looking food.

You don’t need to read the manga from the beginning, but you may want to since the anime does change things significantly, including the end of the tournament arc. That said, the final arc of the manga, while not a time skip like Season 2, is a location change and is actually pretty easy to jump into if you just want to see how the manga ends things.

Will There Be A Yumeiro Patissiere Season 3?

As the anime freestyled its own ending in Season 2 in 2010, there likely will never be a Yumeiro Patisserie Season 3 anime.
