What to Expect From The Dog and Scissors Source Material Compared to The Anime?

The anime tends to embrace the silly chaos of the situation and only kind of scratches the surface of all the other, darker elements going on in the light novel. Essentially, the Dog and Scissors novels go deeper and often darker with the character development and especially the psychology of some characters.

While you don’t need to read the novels from the beginning for anything in the plot they skipped, this is a surprisingly wild and well thought out ride, and you do miss a lot of the nuances in the story that the novels have and the anime does not.

Will There Be A Dog and Scissors Season 2?
