Where To Start The Penguin Musume Manga After The Anime?
The only answer as to where to start the Penguin Musume manga after the anime is Chapter 1.
The Penguin Musume manga is a 4-koma manga where chapters are about four panels long, but they do sometimes string together in brief plots. That said, while the manga does have a decent amount of chapters (which, again, are very short) the anime has 22 episodes, most of which are anime-original.
There are a number of moments from the manga that did make it into the anime, but the anime was, most of the time, just doing its own thing with the concept.
As the anime made you familiar with the characters, if you want a reading experience more like the anime, I recommend you just read the sequel manga Penguin Musume Max instead. It is still just as disconnected from the anime plot as the original manga is, but the sequel manga is in a standard manga format and is no longer a 4-koma manga. The humor and pacing of the Penguin Musume Max manga is far more similar to the anime.
