Where To Start The Kotoura-san Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Kotoura-san anime and want to continue the story in the manga, you can start at Chapter 1.
The Kotoura-san anime does adapt moments of the Kotorua-san manga, but the Kotoura-san manga is widely a different experience from the anime.
First of all, the Kotoura-san manga is a 4-koma comedy manga that often veers into random jokes. The dark beginning of the anime and the overall focus on Kotoura’s healing—those were both crafted for the anime. Furthermore, Yoshihisa is really the only main character in the manga while the anime shifts that to Kotoura since the plot does focus on her.
This is a rare occasion of the anime being a bit better than the manga as the Kotoura anime crafts a storyline for the series while the manga is often random jokes.
