What to Expect From The Deltora Quest Source Material Compared to The Anime?
It is important to note that Deltora Quest is a children’s books series. While the books actually do read a bit more mature than the anime, you should go into it still expecting more youthful writing.
Anyway, Deltora Quest was only adapted to anime on the condition that the studio didn’t change the story. That said, there are changes, like how the anime avoid more violent content while the books do not. Furthermore, that condition didn’t include filler because the anime does have some filler episodes, but none of it changes the story.
You don’t need to read the Delotra Quest novels from the beginning after the anime to continue on with the story.
Will There Be A Deltora Quest Season 2?
As the Deltora Quest anime aired in 2008, and I doubt people would appreciate it very much in this modern age, I doubt more Deltora Quest anime is in the pipeline.
