Given the ages of the characters, I can see how the innuendo might creep people out, but I think Mitsudomoe captures that sort of adolescence humor really well among its wackier shenanigans.

Where To Start The Mitsudomoe Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Mitsudomoe anime and want to continue the story in the manga, you can start at Volume 7, Chapter 116.
Please note that each episode is often made up of several chapters, and those chapters can come from anywhere in the manga as it jumps around a lot. This is the best place to start, but you will still see some events from the anime in later chapters.
What to Expect From The Mitsudomoe Manga?
The Mitsudomoe anime skips a ton of chapters, but the Mitsudomoe manga also doesn’t have any sort of linear story, so the anime skipped chapters and adapted chapters out of order to try to give it more of a linear feel with some light character progression. The manga does have some character progression, but usually there are many chapters of random silliness in between.
If you want more Mitsudomoe, definitely read the manga from the beginning for all it skipped. If you really just want to see what happens next in the story, you are perfectly fine just jumping into the manga after where the anime stopped.
Is The Mitsudomoe Manga Over?
The Mitsudomoe manga is complete. It ended in 2017 with Volume 19, Chapter 348.
Will There Be A Mitsudomoe Season 3?
As the anime aired in 2011, it is safe to say that there will not be a Mitsudomoe Season 3 anime.
