It’s rarely the sport in sports anime that really keeps people watching. It’s those characters and their struggles, and Medalist had some great ones! It’s hard to tell a mature story with young characters, but this series does it great.

What to Expect From The Medalist Manga?
Medalist chapters are actually very long and the story is very linear. This means the anime didn’t really jump around too much and they didn’t leave much out. There were a few very minor cuts throughout the anime from various manga chapters, but nothing that was skipped was relevant to the plot or characterization.
You don’t need to read the Medalist manga from the beginning unless you want to.
Is The Medalist Manga Over?
The Medalist manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2020, the manga usually releases two volumes per year.
Will There Be A Medalist Season 2?
Following the first season, a Medalist Season 2 was announced. However, no official word has been released as to when it will air.
You can find out where to continue the Medalist story in the manga after Season 2 here after the final episode of season 2 airs.
