Hataraki Man seems like it is a comedy, and it is at times, but it is also probably one of the more interesting stories about just an adult woman trying to live her life and who isn’t immediately made into a quivering mass of emotions by her romantic endeavors. It’s actually a interesting examination of how career ambition and femininity can clash.
