While there was certainly an audience looking for more series that follow magical girl villains after Gushing Over Magical Girls, even if it wasn’t lewd at all, Acro Trip struggled to bring sizzle to its perfectly fine, light-heartedly silly story.

Where To Start The Acro Trip Manga After The Anime?
If you want the most strictly technical answer, the you can start the Acro Trip manga at Volume 4, Chapter 48, but that is not really recommended.
The Acro Trip anime jumped all over the manga, skipping many chapters. Chapter 47 was touched on in Episode 11 while the actual 12th episode told storylines from Chapter 34 and other earlier areas of the manga, not wanting to go much further into what would be the final arc of the manga.
Do note that, outside the very long first chapter, the Acro Trip manga also has short chapters and they are all fairly episodic. This means they expanded on a lot of chapters in the anime as well as carved out characters that would not be worth their time including. It also gave the anime a perfect excuse to jump all over the manga like it did to create a sensible storyline for the screen.
As such, it is really recommended to read the Acro Trip manga from the beginning, since you will find quite a bit of new content that was not in the anime when doing so.
Is The Acro Trip Manga Over?
The Acro Trip manga is complete. It ended in 2022 with Volume 5, Chapter 70.
Will There Be An Acro Trip Season 2?
Acro Trip was made by a new studio. It was literally their first project, and it was rather underrated in terms of popularity. Alongside that, there could be enough content for another season, particularly since they were willing to expand on some of the manga storylines, but it would be one of those “just barely enough content for another season” affairs. Those generally don’t get second seasons.
