Humanity Has Declined, the anime, is a patchwork of stories from throughout the first six light novels. Each volume of light novel is usually made up of two different stories. Novel 4 is the only novel that the anime adapted all the stories for.
The anime adapts the novel stories as such:
- The Fairy’s Secret Factory (Episode 1 & 2) – Found in Novel 4
- The Fairies’ Sub-Culture (Episode 3 & 4) – Found in Novel 6
- The Fairies’ Homecoming (Episode 5 & 6) – Found in Novel 3
