Following a teacher protecting his students from supernatural things while also being an incorrigible bum, Hell Teacher Nube is a series from another age that might just be popping back into the spotlight.

Where To Start The Hell Teacher Nube Manga After The Anime?
Hell Teacher Nube (1996)
If you only watched the Hell Teacher Nube 1996 TV anime, then you can start the Hell Teacher Nube manga at Chapter 138.
The OVAs are also a continuation of the manga. They adapt chapters 198 through 208. However, starting after where the OVAs end would mean skipping all those chapters in between.
The Hell Teacher Nube movies are original adventures and not an adaptation of the manga.
Hell Teacher Nube (2025)
Jumping into the Hell Teacher Nube manga after the 2025 anime is not something you can do. The first episode adapts the first chapter, then the series makes wild jumps with what stories it adapts throughout the manga after that.

What to Expect From The Hell Teacher Nube Manga?
Hell Teacher Nube is widely an episodic manga, or “yokai of the week” type of series. Which means the anime adapts about as many chapters as it has episodes. The Hell Teacher Nube anime skips quite a few chapters in the adaptation, but also, because they are episodic stories, you can technically still just pick the manga up after where the anime ends and keep reading on without issue.
Is The Hell Teacher Nube Manga Over?
The original Hell Teacher Nube manga is complete. It ended in 1999 with Chapter 279.
Hell Teacher Nube continued in two sequel manga series:
- Hell Teacher Nube Neo that ended in 2018 with Chapter 118
- Hell Teacher Nube S, which is a sequel to Neo, that ended in 2021 with Chapter 21.

Hell Teacher Nube is a split-cour season, as such its Part 2 will be airing in January 2026.
